Leutnant Walter Schön
Hello Alain
20 October 1943: He 219 A-4 (W.Nr. 190 054) of 1./NJG 1 flown by Leutnant Walter Schön (F) and Unteroffizier Georg Marzotke (Bf), both killed, crashed near Stendal during combat flight, 100% I hope that this information helps you. Please note that I have my suspicions about that He 219 A-4 designation as it does not appear that there ever was an A-4 variant. Were not all He 219 night fighters that were used operationally either A-0 or A-2 variants? Horrido! Leo |
