As far as I know most if not all operational flying by Chinese aircraft in 1945 was done by units belonging to the Chinese American Combat Wing (CACW).

Search CACW on the webpage given above by RSwank.

From the above page, the last claim by CACW was on 14 May 1945, but by US pilots. The last claim by Chinese pilots was made on 1 April 1945.

I have a book called "Wing to Wing" by Carl Molesworth about CACW, but for 1945 most of the events reported in the book are also in the above webpage, and there is no more about any air battle.

On a side note, the last claim by US fighters over China was made on 2 April 1945 over Shangai by 23rd FG. Few Japanese aircraft were flying in China in spring and summer 1945.

Hello,

As stated above, fighter claims in China was very rare in late 45'.

The last I have from the CACW was a "Jack 11" claimed over Hengyang A/F by 1st Lt J. N. Demorest from 26th FS, 5th FG (CACW) at 18:00 on 8 August 1945 (this from Frank Olynyk's lists).

Best regards/Håkan
