Albatros WMZ D5

Hello,

Currently for sale on ebay is a nice photo of Albatros WMZ D5 at:

https://www.ebay.de/itm/Foto-Deutsch...EAAOSwBXld72lD

According to Anrzej Olejko's Marineflieger Station Putzig P.16 this WMZ served at MFS Putzig.

Regards,

Clint

Re: Albatros WMZ D5

Very nice find Clint

I don't have the reference (book?) you refer to, but the master list I have (published by Peter M Grosz in 1998) says D 5 was a WMZ with a 95hp NAG engine and that it was w/o in 1914.

Cheers
Stig

Re: Albatros WMZ D5

Hello Stig,

Thanks for the response. I have a book with a basic list of serial numbers and types, but the information you provide (w/o date) leads me to believe that the publication you reference has more information. Could I ask for the title please.Sounds like I could benefit from a copy.

Regards,

Clint

Re: Albatros WMZ D5

Sorry Clint

I should have been more specific
Grosz masterlist was published in Over the Front in 1998 (I think, the pages are not dated, but the list is)
Send me a PM and I will see what I can do about it.
Would you be interested in his masterlist regarding LF aircraft as well?

Cheers
Stig
