Major Abercrombie possibly US pilot of B-29?

I am sorry for mess posting my question in wrong folder for the first time, now it should be OK

I am looking for information about man, who should be pissibly pilot of B-29.
I found him in the ORB of No. 149 Squadron RAF equipped by Washingtons (B-29) when he made one training flight as Co-pilot in April 1951.
As there is always mentioned only Captain + Co-pilot I suppose he was a pilot.
He may be member of American staff with the Washington Conversion Unit based at Marham or possibly was getting some practice before going to Korean war?

Any ideas much appreciated.

Pavel,

There was a Capt. Norman T. Abercrombie in the Korean War. He was a B-29 navigator (involved in crash of B-29A 45-21822 at Yokohama, JP, 29-1-1952). If this indeed is the person, he was from Michigan (1921-2000).

Somehow I lost a reference when browsing the net that he also was a navigator in a UK-based B-24 Bomb Group during WW 2.

But I think my man should be some one else - I do not expect he will re-mustered from pilot to navigator and to lower his rank...
