Halifax Lost February 1944

A book on airfields in Wales states that in early February 1944 a Halifax returning from the Bay of Biscay was attacked by a Ju 88 Intruder. The Halifax blew up over St. Brides Bay killing the crew and a second Halifax was attacked and landed short of fuel when the Intruders left. Parts of the lost Halifax have been recovered ,can anybody shed any light on this incident and supply crew details of the lost crew,

Thanks
