Christian-Jacques Ehrengardt (CJE)

It's with sadness and sorrow I announce you the disparition of Christian-Jacques Ehrengardt, one of the best French author (one of my favorite to say the least) and creator of Aero Journal.

RIP and blue sky for one I owe so much in my passion of aviation history.

Re: Christian-Jacques Ehrengardt (CJE)

just saw this from Yannis....very sad and horribly unexpected news, even though we knew. Sometimes rubbed people up the wrong way (but then don't we all..) but a very kind and helpful gentleman. 'Les aiglons' and 'Dust clouds...' are just two of his earlier works that are still 'references'...So long Chris..

I am speechless, really! I just had an e-mail exchange with him a few weeks ago!
May he rest in peace.

Lord what a shock. He introduced me to foie gras & a sweet wine as well as the writings of St Exupery. So sad-no doubt Yannis will tell us more
