I am interested how many Messerschmitts of this two-seat version were build? And which factory produced this version or re-built an other Gustavs to this verison? When they started to be produced?

Were there any special W.Nr. row?

Taken from "Messerschmitt Bf-109 F, G & K Series" by Prien & Rodeike,

In order to satisfy a requirement for a two-seat trainer version of the Bf-109 G, from early 1944 a small number of early series Bf-109 G fighters - a total of 500 machines was planned-were converted into the G-12 variant. Almost every early version of the Bf-109 G was involved in the conversion program, specifically,

G-2's from production batchs, 10400-10900, 13400-13500, 14200-14900

G-3's from production batches, 16250-16300

G-4's from production batches, 14950-15000, 15000-15200, 16000-16250, 19200-19800

G-6's from production batches, 18200-18400, 19600-20000, 411000-412000, 412000-413000

The converted machines retained thier original Werknummern.

The Bf 109G-12 conversions were made by Blohm & Voss. According to the RLM Flugzeug-Programm nr. 226 dated 15.12.1944, the total number of Bf 109G-12 on order was at that time 964 aircraft. Up to 30.11.1944 a total of 344 aircraft had been delivered. Production of the remaining 620 aircraft was scheduled to take place from December 1944 and through to March 1946. That is what I call optimistic planning as late as December 1944.

Optimistic, yes but still very logical as fighterpilots were badly needed at the time.

a very bad period for luftwaffe pilots in 44.it was no place to train.

I finally got my microfilm reader up and going so here are some more details from mopthly producion charts for 1944:
Apparently the conversions commenced in December 1943 when 8 Bf 109G-12 were delivered from Blohm & Voss. These were followed by 15 in January 1944, 24 in February, 25 in March, 34 in April, figures for May is missing, 30 in June, 30 in July, 30 in August, 32 in September, 36 in October and 45 in November. These figures represent the number of aircraft accepted by Luftwaffe Bauaufsichten (production controllers).
The number of aircraft produced was a bit higher, because these figures include aircraft not yet accepted. The production plan I mentioned in my previous posting was Nr. 227 and NOT 226.
The monthly production reports state that all G-12 aircraft were originally Bf 109G-4 or G-6. Aircraft for conversion were taken from repair stocks.

My source for the last information is the NARA Microcopy No. T-177 Roll 42 of the Captured German Documents.

In the microfilm is one BV document with W.Nr. for a number of the G-12 conversions. The source aircraft all appear to be from salvage, some being scrapped (probably damaged beyond repair). So there appears to be no sequencing or blocks for the G-12 conversions.
