Ju88 A6+HH flown by Major Werner Baumbach - subtype?

Hello folks,
I'm sure most of you know the Ju88 A6+HH flown by Major Werner Baumbach.
Photographs can be found in different publications or just try a search maschine.
Always the subtype of this Ju88 is given as A-4, but what I don't understand is the position of the FuB L2 antenna. The position is the same as at the D-1. Could be that the plane was a D-1 and not an A-4 and was used for armed reconnaissance?
I aslo don't understand why the plane had a A6 Geschwader code (Aufkl.Gr.120) although Baumbach flew with KG 30. (Geschwader code 4D)
Cheers, Simon

...because it was not Baumbach's machine but a Ju88D-1 (or D-5?) from 1(F)/120 flown by Hptm Helmuth Orlowski, RK.

Thank you for the correction "von Alles". I think it's a D-1. The propeller blades look like the VS-11 and not like the VDM metal propellers.

Cherrs,

Yes, A6+HH was both Ju 88 A-5 (two) and several D-1´s, altho Ju 88 D-1 0881067 is the plane in question here (and destroyed in air attack at Forus 7 Jan 1942); yes connection to KG 30 is fiction, but 1067 had A-5 type fin & metal covered rudder.
And built that way. -Ed

My own interpretation of A6+HH in 1/72nd scale, but built as a D-5 with narrow propeller blades.

Exchange with broader VS 11 wood props is .... er ... simple?
Less artistic but correct. -ed
