Wing Commamder John Freeborn DFC
Just seen on Wiki that John Freeborn passed away on the 28th Aug aged 90, not sure how reliable the info is. He was not only an Ace but also held the distinction of having flown more operational hours than any other RAF pilot during the Battle Of Britain.

Re: Wing Commamder John Freeborn DFC
Sadly that's true. I'm going to miss him a lot.
