Re: JG52 Pilot Walter Wolfrum

Hi,

I visited Walter Wolfrum at his home last week. He is in good condition. His biography is being hopefully being published this month by 29/6 and Kurt Braatz, but it is only available in German to begin with.

He told me he had a lot of correspondence at the moment. He said as more Luftwaffe pilots die, his correspondence increases. You will get responses but it will just take a little longer than normal.

All the best, David.

Great news about biography of W. Wolfrum from 296! He is very friendly and communicative guy.

Ota Jirovec prepared quite large artical about W. Wolfrum some time ago - based on correspondence with W. Wolfrum and some support from Russia.
The artical was not published yet unfortunately.

The Wolfrum biography has just gone to print. It'll be out by the end of this month. Watch www.neunundzwanzigsechs.de for further news.

Hi Kurt,

Good news about Walter's book.

Could you tell me when Julius Meimberg's book will be translated into English as he couldn't give me an exact date when i visited him in May.

All the very best,

David.
