Information concerning loss of Uffz. Karl Hochtl - Fighter pilot - 04.04.1944

Hi,

Can anyone please provide deatials on the unit and loss of Uffz. Karl Hochtl who was killed in air combat on the 4th April 1944. Did he have any confirmed kills?

1944-04-04, 7./JG 27, Ju 52/3m, Wasserflughafen Semlin, 6 km nordöstlich Rathenow, Überschlag bei Wasserung. Bruch ? %.
Flugzeugführer Uffz Höchtl, Karl +

I have the information that Uffz. Höchtl was killed on the way to his squadron near the water airport of Belgrade-Semlin (Serbia). I think the 7./J.G. 27 was not stay in Germany in April 1944.

Kaczmarek, you are of course right. It was in Jugoslavien, as stated in the Sterbebild. Terrible mistake in my database, whose origin I cannot understand.
