Bf 110E production
Any one know when, approximately, the Bf110 E production ended, and when the Bf110 F production began?

Re: Bf 110E production
I believe Bf-110E production ended and Bf-110F production started in the Nov/Dec 1941 time frame.
The Luftwaffe took the first four Bf-110 F's on charge in February 1942. Regards, Mike |

Re: Bf 110E production
Bf 110 production
If I am reading correctly (this is not always a given), the Monatsmeldung for September 1941 shows one Bf 110 E2 and twelve Bf 110 E3s in the BAL column. October shows two Bf 110 E2s and thirteen Bf 110 E3s in the BAL column. Twenty Bf 110 F3s were scheduled, zero to BAL. November shows one Bf 110 E2, eight Bf 110 E3s and two Bf 110 F4s to BAL. The numbers seem really low, but the November summary paragraph agreed with the totals and indicated a shortfall of 38 Bf 110s for the month, however the Me 210 shortfall was even greater at 56. Best Regards, Artie Bob |
