Verplegungsbombe ?

Hi guys

Can anyone inform what Verplegungsbombe means?

I believe it may have something to do with food/supply drop.

Cheers
Brian

Re: Verplegungsbombe ?

You missed out an "f": Verpflegungsbombe = ration bomb.
Same idea as Versorgungsbombe = supply bomb, parachute canisters carried on bomb racks.

Re: Verplegungsbombe ?

I would suggest a separate thread or topic with a German-English vocabulary for those technical Luftwaffe-related terms.

Regards
