Inscription on B-17 propeller
Picture of a Luftwaffe officer (FLAK?)next to a B-17 propeller. Can't make out the entire inscription but the date is clear August 12,1943. Can anyone identify?

Could be B-17, Serial-No. 42-30418, which made a belly landing in the HOHE VENN near Mützenich, east of Eupen.
