Luftwaffe fuel consumption Jan.-March 1945

Although released in March 1945, this report provides information and estimates regarding G.A.F. fuel consumption that I thought some would find useful.

I agree

Was this estimate ever compared with the "truth"?
I can only assume that every Allied estimate made by various intelligence systems was checked against what they could find post war.

Cheers

Dear Stig,

There are several Luftwaffe documents on microfilm dealing with the fuel situation in early 1945 and IIRC, there was a fairly detailed thread on this 10 or 15 years ago on the Luftwaffen Experten board. If you are interested, perhaps someone has kept a record of that.

You're welcome, gents. It's interesting to see the distribution list for this and obvious preparations for winding down the war.

Best,
Ed
