ID Tag Handley Page Halifax /Hampden ?

Hello all members,

I like to bring in this tag probably of Halifax HR 936 wich came down on the night of 23/24-08-1943 in Grijpskerk [Holland] .Due to airelons damage.

On the tag is EEP [English Electric Preston}] and number 23238 wich is unknown . However is it possible that this tag were used in both Hampden and Halifax ?.?Was it common ? .Strange thing to me is a hampden tag in a Halifax .
Any help much appreciated.
