Can anyone provide details over the loss of Uffz. Franz Ederer over Norway on the 11th May 1942.

1942-05-11, FFS C 10, Do 17E-3, 3110, CK+DF, Fl.Pl. Neuhardenberg, Absturz. Bruch 100 %.
Flugzeugführer Fw Scherzinger, Karl, +
Flugschüler Ogfr Niederschuh, Georg, +
Bordmechaniker Uffz Ederer, Franz. +

Thanks for this information. Was it an operational flight and what type of unit was it?

FFS C 10 was a training unit (School). Heimatflug. Please note, that this loss was not in Norway but in Germany.

Suggest that you buy the following book:

Sven Carlsen und Michel Meyer: Die Flugzeugführer-Ausbildung der Deutschen Luftwaffe 1935 - 1945, Band I und Band II. ISBN 3-925480-29-3 und 3-925480-34-X.
It will give you all info you need on training units.
