Info On Crashsites of US Bombers In Germany

I wasn't sure exactly where to post this thread, but I am looking for websites, books or anything at all that has descriptions, photos and any particulars on U.S. bombers that crashed in Germany during WW II. Photos, eyewitness accounts, info from archives ANYTHING concerning crash sites of US bombers in Germany. I am particularly interested in the area around Wilhelmshaven.

Regards,

Art Castle

As one of the responsibles of the above website listed by Frankies, I can say that you may find what you search in the database.

You can search it by date, location, country (of the lost aircraft) or type. Or a combination of the above

Roughly 8500 of the 13500 entries are complete with sources (that often include website that will have more informations and pictures).

Some useful websites:

http://www.303rdbg.com/missionreports/missions.pdf (list of 303rd BG, with details on losses including crash locations and German reports extract)

http://www.b24.net/missions/index.htm (idem by the B-24 of 392nd BG)

http://www.greenharbor.com/ROH.html (same for the B-24 of 44th BG)

http://www.flugzeugabstuerze-saarland.de (crashes in Saar area)

http://www.spurensuchesh.de/abstuerze.html (crashes in Schleswig-Holstein)
