Smile P-47 crash near Antwerp-Deurne december 1 1943

Hello ,

It seems that a P-47 crashed near Antwerp-Deurne Belgiumdecember 1 1943 , further i found the following notes RUS 3416-18 Dead List ? 28/103 , can someone help me this ?

Hello Alain57,

in the Namentliche Verlustmeldung/Personal Casualty Report AV 439/44 of Fl.Pl.Kdo./Airfield Command A Antwerpen-Deurne is listed:
on 1 Dec 1943 a Thunderbolt was shot down by fighter at Sterken, 1 km south and 16 km west of Antwerpen, serial 28006 (= 42-8006). This was the plane of 1st Lt James C Hull, O-795961, who was found dead on the place of crash. The Abschussnummer/German casualty no. was J 348.
