Aircraft Boneyard Kreta 1941

Great shot of a aircraft boneyard at Kreta (or Greece?). Greek Potez 633, Hurricanes, a Blenheim, several Ju-87s, a Bf-109 in the distance.

Re: Aircraft Boneyard Kreta 1941

Since there is a Greek Bloch 151, D173 behind the 633, I would say it is at Larissa rather than Crete.

Cheers

What about the aircraft far left? RAF roundels, elliptical wing - but not a Spitfire? And another beyond the Henschel?

the aircraft to left appears to have open cockpits - possible Magister. Not certain of the top one?

Tom/Graham

Perhaps easier if you look at the original sales page here
https://www.ebay.de/itm/Orig-Foto-Fl...EAAOSwvWFfqA8Y

At a certain stage aircraft too broken up just become wrecks to me....

Cheers
Stig
