1.(F)/123 LOSSES 4th june 1942

I'm looking for details relatives on the JU.88 lost on the 4th june 1942 beetween Cherbourg and Southampton ?

A quick look through the loss reports reveals nothing until 7 Jun 42 when 3/123 lost an ac; it is possible that there might be something hidden in the records later. There were a number of 1/33 accidents but not on that date

Thank you for the information Chriss - On the 4th, the 340 sq destroyed a JU.88 beetween Cherbourg and Southampton - Four (FF) pilots were in action (Fournier Demas Béchoff and Fayolle) - Fayolle was credited of this claim.

The question is to identify the origin of this Ju.88 - I though he was from 1.(F)/123.

may be KG 2 ?????

I have no destroyed for 340 but a damaged and in any case I can find no German loss
