Re: First names 23 squadron aircrew 1942

Hello
580808 John Frederick POTTER, D.F.C. (50593).
Warrant Officer John Frederick POTTER (580808),
No. 23 Squadron.
Warrant Officer Potter is a most efficient member of aircraft crew. As navigator of a bomber aircraft he has participated in numerous attacks on important targets in Germany and in the Middle East. Latterly, he has completed a large number of intruder sorties during which his brilliant navigation has contributed materially to the successes achieved. He has at all times displayed courage and determination and has won the complete confidence of all with whom he has flown.
Good night
Pavel
