I have found yet a Georg Hammerschmidt born 1923, died 5. March 1945 with a D 9 in Babenhausen 10./JG 2. Greetings Peglar

According to NVM:
Uffz Hammerschmid am 1945-03-07 im Lazarett seinen Verletzungen erlegen.
