Information concerning loss of Uffz. Josef Kampelsberger - 12.08.1943
Hi,
Can anyone provide information on the loss of Uffz. Josef Kampelsberger who was killed on the 12.08.1943. His death card reads that he was a fallschirmkampf beobachter? Thanks Rick

According to Kaiser, Die "Ritterkreuzträger der Kampfflieger, V.1", p.120-21 Gen.Major Wolfgang von CHAMIER-GLISCINZKI, the Air Commander Southeast in the Balkans (Dienststelle des Flzg.Führ. Südost auf dem Balkan) was also killed as a passenger on this machine.
