Cross-Atlantic Glider Flight - 1943

In early summer 1943 the RAF made an experimental tug plane (Dakota)-glider (CG-4A, named 'Voo-Doo') flight across the Atlantic, from Canada to Scotland.
This was done in several stages.
Pilots of glider were Wing Commander Richard Seys (RAF) and Sqdn Ldr Fowler Gubeil (RCAF). Dakota pilot was Flt Lt Bill Longhurst (Canada-born, with RAF Ferry Command).

Are the serials known of the airplanes involved?

Thanks for any info.

Regards,

Leendert

Re: Cross-Atlantic Glider Flight - 1943

There was a 3rd plane that made the flight with the Dakota and the CG-4A, a PBY Catalina.

Another write up of the flight.

The above link gives the RAF number of the Hadrian (CG-4A) as FR-579. Joe Baugher's serial number site says that was 42-52779.
