Bf-110 prop hub spiner

Hello,
I know that until the G series they just ran the spinners with the hole in it.

Can you please help me with a good photo of the plug front/back that they put in the spinner? What was the part number? What is the proper nomenclature for this part?

I have seen pictures of them off before, but I can not locate them.

Included attachment of a me-410, but this is the plug I am interested in, please.

Kind regards

These cover/caps are generally called a Verschlusskappe and are complete with the reference number of the complete Haube. For the Me110 fitted with the DB601F or DB605B, this number is 9-12078.34 or .30 .
The Kappe has 3 main parts, the front Verschlusskappe with that number, the Deckel 42 VDMN 878 36 and a Senkschraube M4 x 18 DIN 63.

Cheers

Thank you very much for your assistance. Do you have the drawing for the Verschlusskappe?

Unfortunately, I do not have the technical drawings for these parts.
You might find that someone in Germany has them. There have been reproduction spinners produced and so the info might be available. If you are serious about getting these parts you might try contacting the known restorers.
The general illustration just show what you see on the 410, a front plate, a central screw and behind is another disc with a threaded nut attached, possibly with a self locking function. Of course, the detail of these parts can only be proven by having an original part or, the design drawing.

Cheers

That was my thoughts too, and thanks again for your reply.

Great pics Chris! That is a genuine Bf110 or Me210 spinner. I get the number 9-12078.30 on the plate, for the above types fitted with DB601F or DB605B.
