B 29 in Europe

Hello,

My father who was in the Armée de l'air at this time told me he saw in 1946 at Bordeaux-Merignac airfield a "very big Boeing bomber" he called "Boeing 2".

I think that was one of the few B 29 sent ito Europe after the end of the war.

What do you think ?

Thank you

Alain
