Major Tadeusz Siewierski and other
Hello,
Major Tadeusz Siewierski, 3. pulk lotnictwa mysliwskiego, should escaped by plane from Poland to Austria on July 4 1946. Is known from which A/F he took off and where he landed? Which type of plane did he use? Four Air Cadets (6. Eskadra Szkolna) took off from Deblin AFB and landed somewhere around Vienna. They escaped during night July 27/28 1956 by two Jak-18 training planes. Is known their names? And where they landed exactly? Thanks for help Michal |

Re: Major Tadeusz Siewierski and other
Michal,
Check out the online archives of the Austrian newspaper Arbeiter-Zeitung. On 31 July 1956 it says that the Jak-18s landed at Kirchberg am Wechsel and at Oberbergern, south of Krems. One name is mentioned: Lesnek Szachogluchowicz. See: http://www.arbeiter-zeitung.at/cgi-b...page=02&html=1 Regards, Leendert |

Found the four names of 1956: Leszek Szachochogluchowicz, Karol Kruk, Bogan Biskupski and Eugeniusz Debski. Regards, Leendert |
