“Operation Pandemonium”
Gents,
No.3 Group carried out a experimental raid on the 16/17th July against the U-Boat yards at Lubeck, code named “Operation Pandemonium” The plan called for the groups Short Stirlings to take-off early evening and fly at low level across the North Sea in formation until a point where crews using cloud as cover could carry out individual attacks on the target.
Does anyone know the exact targets, ie individual yards in Lubeck or damage if any caused.
