601 sqn, F/Lt Himr

Hello all,

F/Lt Jaroslav Himr had brief encounter with an Ju 88 East of Cromer at 17.38 hours on the July 28, 1941. He made two attack before loosing enemy in clouds firing 2400 rounds. No claim was submitted, the White 2, Sgt. W. Land did not attack. The Ju 88 was bombing ships in the area.

Was any damage inflicted? Is a possible opponent known? Who was bombing ships at given area?.
(Nothing in Blitz than and now, vol. 3)

Best regards.

David
