Marking on FW190 airframe component

does this marking ring a bell to any FW190 expert ?

3-801.822-705.11
Ebersc...rher Esslingen

I shall post a picture of this airframe component tomorrow.

Hi Gilles,

Could it be that the .801. relates to the Fw190's BMW 801 radial engine? A company named Eberspächer made exhaust systems for aircraft engines. The company still exists, and it is located in Esslingen.

This fragment is a piece of aluminum engine cover located around the engine
