Col.Koshedub Korea
From various Russian books it has come to my attention that Col.Koshedub the top Allied WWII ace was dispatched as Soviet VVS advisor in Korea even claimed as active on flight line against USAF fighters and B-29 bombers . Are there any clear evidences to sustain the theory of active flying duties and did he ever claim any american fighter during the Korean campaign given the post WWII era Soviet rumours about such claims ? Back in April 1945 he claimed two P-51's though these victories never became official . One of the P-51's can be seen on here the other shot depicts him ( left hand ) at a party with North Korean officials .
