Searching for claims of Oblt. Schenk and Lt. Hermichen, 1941, Eastern Front
Hallo gents!
I am trying to find out details of 3 claims of Lt. Rolf-Gunther Hermichen with 6./SKG210 in 1941 on Eastern Front. Also, I am searching info about claims of Oblt. Wolfgang "Bombo" Schenck, StaKa of 1./SKG210. He must have 14 claims from 22.6.41 to mid. of october 41. Any help will be high appreciated!

Re: Searching for claims of Oblt. Schenk and Lt. Hermichen, 1941, Eastern Front
Hallo Evgeny
SKG210's claims in the typed form prior to August 1942 do not seem to have survived. However a problems list does, but only brings to light one for Schenck, and none for Hermichen:- 9th July 1941 1./SKG 201 Oblt DB-3 10km North of Orsha 1145hrs at 500 metres(was confirmed). With regards to Hermichen, his sixty-four total is claims not confirmed, and he would seem to have quite a few unconfirmed, and at least forty-five confirmed! Regards Johannes |

Johannes:
Thx for reply. I think, 9.7.41 claim of Oblt. Schenck must be his #7?

I have his 1942 claims, and very interested in his early claims, in 1940 (with 1./ZG1) and in 1941 with 1./SKG210. Could You tell me his 2nd victory in may 1940? http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showpo...3&postcount=10 He shot down a DB-3 twin engine bomber, but his a/c was damaged, and he had to belly land it. At that moment, he had 6 victory bars on fin, so, that DB-3 must go as his 7th.

Hallo
All I have for him are two Blenheims on 10th May 1940, however I would say that this information is somewhat questionable! Regards Johannes |
