Aircraft Type Luftlangegeschwader 1 Hs 126
Hello,
I`ve a question regarding the Aircrafttyp of Henschel Hs 126 in the Service of the "Luftlandegeschwader 1". Most plublished (L.d.W) is, that only the III Group / L.L.G.1 use this Type 1941/42 from the Airfied in Braunschweig-Waggum. On 30. January 1941 Fw. F. Bahn from 1.Stff / L.L.G. 1 died in crash at the Airfield in Hildesheim with Hs 126 B-1. Is it possible that 1. / L.L.G. 1 use also this Type or Fw. Bahn was order to the III Group in Braunschweig-Waggum. Every "Help" is welcome and Thanks in advance, streak98 (Dirk) |

Re: Aircraft Type Luftlangegeschwader 1 Hs 126
Hi Dirk,
The loss is found in RL 2-III/753, page 0053, #13: http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/album....pictureid=1458 As you can see, a notation of "Z.b.V" has been added by hand under the unit. Jim |

Re: Aircraft Type Luftlangegeschwader 1 Hs 126
Hi Karoband,
Thanks so much for this... it helps. I believe that Fw Bahn was order from the 1./L.L.G. 1 to III Group. I try to clarify it via the "Bundesarchiv / Antrag personenbezogen Recherche"... maybe that can help... greetings Dirk |
