Bodenplatte Uffz Richard Ruppel 11./JG 2
1st January 1945, over 800 Luftwaffe fighters took off from their bases in Germany to attack Allied airfields in Holland, Belgium and France. One of them was Uffz Richard Ruppel from 11./JG 2. He lost his Life in his FW 190 D 9 between Lüttich - St. Trond. Anybody help ?

Uffz. Richard Ruppel, born 27.01.1922. Killed in crash west of Mützenich, NWW Monschau. Buried in Vossenack, Grave E.1536, on 27.10.1949.
He flew Fw 190D-9, 600407, gelbe 3. John. |
