Pinpointing the crash site of RAF bomber?
Is there any way to find out the crash site of a particular British bomber?
It is one of the 617 Squadron "dambuster" aircraft that apparently hit pylons and crashed killing all the crew. I have recently separately met both the WAAF who briefed the crew and the wife of a crew member. Both would like to know the crash site with view to a possible visit while they still can. Many thanks, Sid. |
