Seeking info on KG 4 and KG 40 aircrews

Bonjour,

I am looking for information about the two aircrews below:

I would like to know the crew positions and aircraft data for this crew belonging to the KG 4 (11. or 12. Staffel?) and lost on July 7, 1943:
Uffz. Callenbach Georg
Lt. Stockhusen Helmut
Gefr. Emde Friedrich
Olt. Roemer Dietrich
Gerfr. Ochsmann Manfred
Ogefr. Rupprecht Heinrich
Ofw. Bösenberg Bernard

And I would like also to know the crew positions for these airmen belonging to the 9./KG 40, whose Fw-200 was shot-down on January 27, 1944:
Fw. Nothelfer Karl
Uffz. Schwarz Walter
Uffz. Prettner Raimund
Ofw. Schmidt Willy Anton
Uffz. Reinhardt Wilhelm

Thanks a lot beforehand for your assistance.
Best regards,
Frederic

Re: Seeking info on KG 4 and KG 40 aircrews

Hi Frederic - found this entry on GQM report dated 10-7-43 :- 6-7-43 'H' He111 H6 4263 of IV/KG4 crashed in flames by La Charite 100%. FF Ltn. Helmut Stockhusen, Bf Uffz. Georg Callenbach, Bm Pruf.a.E Heinz Hinkelmann, Bm Werka.E Max Buttner all killed. The date is confirmed on a later entry dated 13-1-43 whish is clearer to read which appears to change the status of Hinkelmann and Buttner from aircrew to ground personnel ?

Regards

Re: Seeking info on KG 4 and KG 40 aircrews

Hello Brian,

Thank you for these details. As I have the Bourges "Heldenfriedhof" list I will check for the names of Hinkelmann and Buttner. I made a mistake of date with the five last airmen of KG 4. The right date is August 23, 1943. Plane hit a power-line while flying at low level near St Thiebault (a place known as "Beaufroid")

All the best,
Frederic

Re: Seeking info on KG 4 and KG 40 aircrews

Hello and merci Chris for these details.

I take the opportunity to ask you. Any other accidents while the KG 40 was at Avord airfield? Aircrafts damaged without airmen injured.

Greetings frome France,
Frederic

If it was 1944, I am afraid unless there were casualties, getting details are highly unlikely.
