Re: Sgt Len Manning - 57 Sqn
Hello,
Sgt Len Manning failed to return on 18/19 July, 1944 (not 18 April, 1944), attacking Revigny (the third raid). He successfully evaded, despite being badly burned about the face. See: Massacre over the Marne The RAF Bombing Raids on Revigny, July 1944. Clutton-Brock,Oliver. Sparkford:P.S.L.,1994. pp.10, 111, 174-6 & 240. and ... https://www.aerosteles.net/steleen-bassevelle-lancaster see also ... BCL5/336. Col. Last edited by Col Bruggy; 3rd September 2020 at 08:13. |
