C47 42-93278 D Day involvement? help please
Hi
Would anyone have any info on C47 42-93278 that was with the 97TCS squadron and a part of the 440 TCG Group?i believe the squadron code was W6 and was a part of the 97th based at Exeter. My main question would anyone know whether this aircraft was involved in anyway within the D Day landings before during or after? Also any possible photos of the aircraft itself. Sadly the aircraft and crew were lost on the 8/9/44. Thank you for any help given in advance
