Douglas A-26B Invader

Hi Guys,

after building some large Multi-engined RC scale models such as;

- Short Sunderland (scale 1/10th), span 3,45m (136"), weight 18,5 kg (41 pound).
- Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress (scale 1/8th). span 4m. (158"), weight 19,3 kg (42,5 pound).
- Northrop P-61 Black Widow (scale 1/6,6th) span 3,10m (122"), weight 18,5 kg (41 pound).

all three built from own plan, I built a new multiengined RC scale model, again from own plan (3000 hours);
the Douglas A-26B Invader. (scale 1/5,9th), span 3,60m (142"0, weight 21,5 kg (47 pound).

This specific plane I copied did participate a.o. in; Project Thunderstorm, All Weather Flying Center, Clinton County airport, Wilmington Ohio, during 1947.

If someone can help me out with more pictures specific of this plane, please let me know.

More pictures and video on my homepage www.janhermkens.nl

Many regards,
Jan
