Lochbrunner's a/c of 5.5(6.5) 1940 has kennscheichen 6N+EH as shown on a picture here:

Friedel Dörner had licenses for the JU 52 and JU 87. Efter downshooting he was war-prisoner in UK for ca 1 year, was shipped to Canada with the crew in the book "Einer kam durch", was in Canada for 5 years and at least 1 year again in UK till 1947. Then he came back to Germany. He died in 1969 because of cancer.

Hi,

Bought this sterbebild of Feodor Roos who was survivor of 1940 crash.

Please can anyone provide information on which unit he was with when he died and details of death?

I think he may have received the German Cross in Gold after his death.
