Re: Ju88 NA+DJ lost 26 July 1940
Conferring with Matti overnight, there were three NVM from this unit, two crews of four killed (NA+DJ & ND+CS) and one crew of two killed. Dates 21., 26. and 27. The last one NVM is for the two, but is without aircraft type, and without confirmation if it even was an a/c crash. I think (only speculating) this was possibly a Ju 87 Stuka - known are two opertated with this unit (or sister unit) in March 1940, codes given be U4+SH and U4+TK both destroyed. Therefore Ju 87 B-1 "DGGXAI" in DVL files (July 1940) could be an candidate (?) So we are seeking further info on Ju 87´s, possibly GG+AI (5374 ?) or DG+AI even. -Ed

Re: Ju88 NA+DJ lost 26 July 1940
Hello,
I know this is an old thread, but I recently got some of Gessners paperwork and wanted to show two of his Wehrpass pages here, in case they are useful to anyone. Have a nice weekend. Regards, Christian
