VVS loss - 16th December 1943 (Witebsk-Newell Rollbahn)

Just for curiosity...and hope some Russian Historian will help to match this one.

Reading Otto Carius' memories, on pg.40 (Tigers in the Mud) he describes how his gunner, Uffz Kramer managed to shot down one Russian fighter (type not reported though) with his 88mm gun (Tiger I), crashing on the German side of the lines.

It seems there was also a collision between two fighters (VVS) and that they crashed down, near that area on the same date.

Is there any record that corroborate the first claim by a Tiger I?

Adriano
