Junkers 252 RH+DC in Tápiószentmárton KG200 secret mission?
Dear guys,
I have two pictures about this Junkers 252 transport aircraft. The code is: RH+DC The photos was taken at June or July 1944 on Tápiószentmárton airfield (from Budapest maybe 50 km far from south-east). In this time the 5/1 Hungarian Night Fighter used the place. My Grandfather also told me the Junkers 252 was very interesting with a big hydraulic-door. Could be the aircraft landing for a secret mission, or just was a visit? Or they came to pick up one P-38 Lightning american fighter, which crashed at 14 July 1944, nearby on Tápiószentmárton airfield. I search in http://www.luftwaffe-experten.org/stammkennzeichen.html but I didn’t find nothing about this plane. September of 1944 the German night fighter also use the airfield, for two or three week. Who is interesting about the airfield, must go to this page http://www.kincsemairport.hu My questions: What is the true, really had some secret action in this time for a KG 200? What happend whit this Junkers? Who whose the pilot? Sincerely, Balazs |
