Uffz. Zeindl from NSGr. in April 45

Uffz Zeindl was BF in a Nachtschlachtgruppe, when he fell in a flying accident at the aerodrome in Lübeck on the 20. April 1945.
I am searching infos about his death, unit etc etc. and hope to find some help here, as i do not have anything in my files and books about such units.
Thank you
Christian

Re: Uffz. Zeindl from NSGr. in April 45

Hello,

do you mean this person:

Zeindl, Johannes
(war cemetery in Lübeck-Travemünder Allee, Block VI Reihe R Grab 28) - source: www.volksbund.de, Gräbersuche online. There is no more information on this Zeindl.

The only NSGr.-related unit that was in Lübeck at that time (April 1945) must have been 15./SG 151 (Nachtschlacht replacement & training unit, Ju 87). Although parts should have been in Grossenbrode (62km east of Kiel) at least until 26 April 1945.
Do you have additional information on Zeindl´s fate: such as information on his last flight, which type of plane, name of pilot, etc.

You may make contact with me offline under info@nachtschlacht.de

Greetings,

Dr. Christian Möller
