S/Ldr Playford - C.O. RAF Anti-Locust Flight (ME)
Looking for the first name S/Ldr B.H.A. Playford (40940), ex-Hurricane pilot with No. 274 Squadron in N. Africa. Found name of Playford as (first?) C.O. of the RAF Anti-Locust Flight in Iran, 1943.
I think same person? Regards, Leendert |

Thanks, must be him. Meanwhile I also found (a) Flight-Lieutenant Beck in relation to the first operations of that special Flight, flying Ansons and Vincents.
I wonder if he was G.A. Beck (67532), with also first name wanting. Regards, Leendert |
