MAW-4 Omission

In Mediterranean Air war- Volume 4, there is a curious omission in the detail presented for December 2,1943. This is the complete absence of the German unit responsible for the loss of two 82nd FG P-38s. In Tony Wood's list, the German unit is identified.
The responsible Luftwaffe unit was III/JG-53, with Major Gotz, Oblt Hake and Lt. Hennecke each claiming one P-38 at at 1200-1207

Also, on December 1,1943, there is so mention of Lt. Eldon Vondra, 27 FS, 1st FG who was lost near La Spezia.

Stig Jarlevik will become famous soon enough
Re: MAW-4 Omission

Looks like all German claims from 2 Dec are missing. Probably a printing mistake!

The loss of Lt Vondra (if he was on an escort mission) will be included in Vol Six
