To Kaiyan and Bertrand H - thanks for sharing another part of history of this Hurricane and his pilot!

All photos dowloaded to my personal archive :-)

Can somebody share more info about this action - I found just info, that 229. Sq pursuit some He 59 (probably some save action for some pilot in water) and P/O D.B.H. McHardy was shotdown over France.

Dear all,
I am not certain that the airmen pictured in this thread is McHardy.
Certainly, there isn't much of a resemblance to him from the picture on his web page entry here: www.bbm.org.uk
The web page picture is definitely him as it originates from family pictures.
