Signatures Help in KG76 Soldbuch

I am currently researching a Soldbuch formerly belonging to a Bordmechanik who served in KG76 throughout the war.

I would appreciate some help with the identification of the signatures on the posted images.

The Feldpost Nr's are:

L25443 - I/KG76
L40867 - I/KG76
L38434 - Stab/KG76
18859 Ergänzungs-Staffel/KG76 until 11/07/1941, then IV/KG76

Asl always, any help will be gratefuly received.

Regards Richard.

Re: Signatures Help in KG76 Soldbuch

I knew that I'd seen a similar signature to the first one shown on the bottom of Pg 2. I originally thought it was similar to how Felix Steiner started his surname (but this was discounted when I was actually able to compare the two) but then I realised it looks like how the signature seen on the decorative Schnellboot citations begins - Raeder (not THAT Raeder). So - as that looks to start with a 'von Ra...' I'd say that it is Helmuth von Raven who won the DKiG as a Major with II/KG 51 on the 24th Sept 1942.

Many thanks indeed for your help thus far in the identification of the signatures in this KG76 Soldbuch.

I have to say that 'Von Raven', 'Rugmann' and 'Kanther' all match the signatures noted perfectly.

My next question is can anyone confirm whether these 3 Officers were definatly assigned to Kampfgeschwader 76 at the time noted in the Soldbuch?

Thank you again for your help and I remain hopeful in anticipation that more may be identified soon.

Regards Richard.

Signatures Help in KG76 Soldbuch - Progress so far...

Thus far, with the help of hucks216 and lilsis, the following signatures have been identified from the Soldbuch:

Page 2 Hptm. Hellmuth Von Raven Staka 3./KG76 (DKiG)

Page 15 (lower signature) & Page 24 (lowest signature) Oblt. Rugmann Staka 11./KG76

Page 8 & Page 22 (1st signature) Oblt. Hermann Dänzer Fuhrer des Stabsschwarms (DKiG)

Page 22 (Silver Kampfflieger Spange entry) & Page 24 (1st signature) Oblt. Lutz 11./KG76

Page 23 (2nd signature) Oblt. Rudolf Hallensleben Staka 2./KG76 (RKT)

Page 23 (3rd signature) Oblt. Werner Kanther Fuhrer des Stabs Schwarm (DKiG)

If anyone can shed any light on the following Officers, in particular in realtion to their service with KG76, I would be very grateful indeed:

Von Raven
Dänzer
Rugmann
Lutz
Kanther

Still looking to identify the remaining signatures in the Soldbuch from the images posted. Thanks for the help thus far.

Regards Richard.
