The last Bf 109E left the Erla factory in January 1941. Regarding the other producer I can't say it.

Re: A simple question about Emil

Fieseler built 155 Bf 109s in 1941, ending production in June 41. They built E-1/-7/-8 and 70 109Ts.
Arado ended 109 production in October 41 after 370 had been produced in this year. They built 258 F-2s, and E-1/-5/-6N/-7
AGO stopped 109 production in November 41 after 381 had been produced this year. They built 378 F-2s and 80 E-1s.
MttR was likely building 109Fs in 41, switching to 109G in late 41

Re: A simple question about Emil

Hi all,

The split between E's and F's was (according to RLM's C-AMT's monatsmeldungen):
mm.yyyy E/T F
09.1940 194 001 (first F-1/2 = Mtt.R)
10.1940 129 015
11.1940 059 001
12.1940 101 014
01.1941 060 020
02.1941 021 107
03.1941 031 252
04.1941 036 377
05.1941 020 372
06.1941 029 285 (last E/T = GFW)

For the F's I have the split even to the level of F-0/1/2/4 per month...

Can anyone detail the period 01.1940-08.1940?
For that I have only some confusing numbers
(one series from BAMA and one from Vajda, but nothing from RLM)

BR, Juha

Servus Gilles, et al.!

It seems that the last Bf 109E production at Wiener Neustädter Flugzeuge Werke (WHF) has been overlooked in various postings so far.

WNF was a major producer of Bf 109s, as we know. According to the special
report "Air Industry - Austria" compiled by the Air Division, HQ U.S. Forces
in Austria, Office of the A. C. of S., A-2, Incl. 1, p. 1, and dated
20 Sept. 1945, WNF delivered its last Bf 109E-7N and last two Bf 109E-7Z in Dec. 1941. The facility produced a total of 3 Bf 109E-7N and 17 Bf 109E-7Z during CY 1941.

Re: A simple question about Emil

That WNF-report sounds very interesting.
How/where to find a copy of that?
